Organizers and students of Prempeh College and Kumasi Wesley Girls High School were shocked to the marrow to see YAGSS turn up at their joint programme today hosted at K-Wey Gey Hey.
The highly patronized programme drew over 2000 students from both schools and other supporting institutions across the city.
The program dubbed “UTOPIA 2K16” was jointly organized by the local SRCs of Prempeh College and K-Wey Gey Hey.
The surprise element however was the presence of the representation of Yaa Asantewaa Girls who stormed the place to the amazement of the two schools.
The ‘allia’ partners of Prempeh College, who have consistently failed to honour invitations by Prempeh College according to complaints by students of Prempeh were least expected to be there.
Perhaps the ensuing cold war between the two ‘allia’ partners which prompted Prempeh to have the joint programme with K-Wey Gey Hey after some exchanges between YAGSS and Prempeh on some platforms was targeted at getting their allia partners to be jealous.
However YAGSS turned up to stun the two schools as many kept asking if it was a sign of getting their Sofoline Boys back.
The programme saw amazing performances from various schools who entertained the audience with eye pleasing performances.
But the multi-dollar question on the lips of many students at the venue was why YAGSS tuned for the programme when efforts to have the joint programme with them proved unsuccessful.
