KUMASI HIGH SCHOOL OVERPOWERS OWASS, PREMPEH, OT ETC. TO BE CROWNED CHAMPIONS OF ASHANTI REGION

It gets all exciting to see schools compete in all fields to exhibit their prowess. This year, the Regional Youth department of the RedCross Society  has done it again by organising the 12th Edition of Inter-Schools Firstaid competition.

The competition which was held at Kumasi Wesley Girls Senior High School on the 21st of November, 2016 brought and saw  fair struggle for the enviable first position.  Eighteen schools competed and below are the results after the contest;

1st position : Kumasi High School.

2nd position : Opoku Ware school.

3rd position : KNUST SHS.

4th position : Prempeh College.

5th position : Kumasi Girls’ SHS.

6th position : Serwaa Nyarko Girls’.

7th position : Afia Kobi Girls.

8th position : Osei Tutu SHS.

9th position : Kumasi Wesley Girls’. 10th position : OKESS, KASS and Asanteman SHS.

13th position : St Louis SHS.

14th position : Kumasi Academy SHS.

15th position : Adventist Bantama. 16th position : Aduman SHS.

17th position :Presby Girls’ SHS.

18th position : Simms SHS.

The Red Cross undoubtly has contributed massively in secondary education in the country, training young ones in  firstaid skill and health assistance. Congrats to all participating schools, and a bigger one to Kumasi High School for emerging as champions of the Red Cross Inter-Schools first aid competition.
