There will be two 1/6th matches on the day as well as Adu Gyamfi SHS, Osei Tutu SHS and others battle for a quarter final ticket.
Match one 8:30 am
Islamic SHS vs Aduman SHS
This will be a cracker of a match as a very resolute Islamic side comes face to face with a very skillful Aduman side. Islamic thrives on grit, aggressive play and have strong aerial ability as against the silky fluid passing game of Aduman. A very difficult game to predict.
RaphSark predicts a drawn game (a penalty win for Aduman)
Match 2 10 am
Ejisuman vs Asanteman
It will be fireworks in the second match of the day as the well built Macho-looking Coach of Ejisuman comes up Asanteman. Asanteman looks too formidable and solid to be broken down by Ejisuman who will do all they can but will fins Asanteman a mountain too tall to climb.
RaphSark Predicts 2:1 victory for Asanteman.
Match 3 11 am
Collins Commercial vs Juaben SHS
This will also be another interesting encounter as last year second placed school Collins Commercial takes on Juaben SHS in a battle fit for the gods.
Collins have shown so much enthusiasm in soccer in recent times and have invested so much and hence their last year placement was no fluke. Though Juaben could be troublesome, the experience of Collins is expected to guide them through.
RaphSark predicts 1:0 victory for Collins.
Match 4 12:30
Prempeh College vs Osei Tutu II College
Prempeh should not struggle to account for O.T. Tetrem who qualified on protest. The solid Prempeh side with very experience players will not find this hurdle a herculean one.
RaphSark predicts 3:0 victory for Prempeh.
Match 5 3:00 pm
ADVENTIST SHS VS KASS 1/16TH FIXTURE
The first one -sixteenth stage fixture will be local derby involving two Kumasi schools Adventist and Kumasi Anglican Senior High School. The two sides were unconvincing in their first match with many patron expressing disappointment about their play. But experience they say is the best teacher and KASS should ride on their experience over the years to book a quarter final ticket.
RaphSark predicts 2:1 victory for KASS.
Match 6 4pm
Adu Gyamfi SHS vs Osei Tutu SHS 1/16th match
This is a match fit for the gods as the friendly hostilities between these two schools will once again be renewed in the last match of the day.
This is expected to crown a very good day of football as a very determined OT side takes on pretournament favourites and four times Champions Adu Gyamfi SHS.
If the confidence of the The OT team and students is anything to go by then ADGASS are in for a very tough game. OT looked solid against Barekese whilst Adu Gyamfi disposed off New Edubiase shs with ease.
Giant looking John Boye will have a lot on his hands against the skillful attackers of Adu Gyamfi.
RaphSark predicts a regulation time win for ADGASS perhaps a 1:0 win for Adu Gyamfi but should the match travel to penalties Osei Tutu will sail through.
