Amass Phobia this afternoon were declared winners in a protest filed by Nsutaman Catholic SHS against five of their players. Nsutaman failed to prove the ineligility of the players in question as they relied on hearsay to get Amass disqualified but their claim could not stand the test of time as they woefully failed to prove any wrongdoing on the side of Amass.
When four of their claims were found to be without substance, they then tried to produce a witness to testify against one of the players of Amass that he was not a student but rather a hotel attendant. But that claim also fell flat when workers of the said hotel confirmed that they have no knowledge of the boy and therefore cannot be a worker of the hotel. Subsequently Nsutaman Catholic were fine and Amass cleared to play Manso Adubia shs tomorrow.
In a related development Islamic Senior High has lodged a protest against Aduman Senior High for fielding unqualified player in their match. Aduman won the said match by 1:0 A and have been notified of the pending protest. Federation Vice Chairman, Dr. Amankrah confirmed the receipt of the protest letter to our Editorial team.
The case will be held hopefully tomorrow at the Baba Yara Stadium.
