About three hundred Students, Patrons and APEC members of the Ashanti Regional Students Representative Council returned from a four day educational trip to the Eastern and Central Regions yesterday.
The Educational trip took the participants to some historic sites in the two regions and afforded students the opportunity to learn at first hand some of the historic information they’ve seen in magazines, books and documentaries.
The participants visited exciting sites like the Elmina Castle, Kakum National Park, Komfo Anokye Shrine, Aburi Botanical Gardens, Akosombo Dam, Adomi Bridge, Tetteh Quarshie Original Cocoa Farm etc. and crowned it all at Sajuna Beach Resort with fun games and boat cruising on the Volta Lake.
The participants returned yesterday with memorable moments to cherish as they departed to their various homes.
