Adu Gyamfi Senior High School managed to beat stiff competition from four other schools in the Sekyere South District to pick the only slot to represent the district in the 6th Independence National Debate Competing. ADGASS were too good to handle as the produced a charismatic performance on the day to overcome Agona Sectec, Konadu Yiadom SHS, Agona SDA and Okomfo Anokye SHS in the debate.
The schools were competing for the only ticket to the regional level competition. Last year, ADGASS missed out narrowly but made ammends this time to ensure qualification.
Stiff competition however awaits them from the district champions of other areas as they move into the phase.
On Tuesday the 1st of February, ADGASS will also compete in the finals of the Acme Quiz Compettion with fifteen other schools to see who eventually emerge winners.
The Ashanti Regional Students Representative Council congratulates Adu Gyamfi Senior High School and wishes them the best.
