Suzo update: Records fall at suzo as Amass receives real competition

Rose Amoanimaa Yeboah of Kumasi Girls equalled a Record in High Jump with 1.65Mts jump set in 2012 by Elizabeth Dadzie of AMASS- KSI, Mary Quayson of O’ sec Tech in 2012 had her record equalled by Abigail Kwarteng of Agogo State in 2014 and Elizabeth Arko of Wesley Girls has also managed to equal it during 2017 in zone 2 .
AMASS – KUMASI Boys two new records in 4×100MTS with a time of 41.72secs to cancel the old time set by the same school of 41.90secs in 2011.
Furthermore they brokek an old record in 4×200MTS with a time of 1:28.16secs to New Time of 1:28.06secs.
In the 200MTS FINALS, Rafiatu Nuhu of Kumasi Girls won it to surprise everybody at the stadium after beating Halutte Hor of AMASS – Kumasi who was tagged as the favorate, while Derrick Sarkodie of JAPASS also won in the boys division.

Overall, the girls division will be one to watch with three schools battling for the title. Kumasi Girls, T. I. Amass and Kumasi Wesley Girls High School. The first day was a close call with the three schools picking some points in various disciplines though Kumasi Girls looked the most potent.

The boys however may not be as competitive as the girls with T. I. Amass leading the pack though Prempeh College, JAPASS, KASS and Owass chasing from behind. Most of he finals will be run tomorrow with maximum points at stake.
