The ARSRC’s Orientation team was present at Serwaa Nyarko Girls Senior High School. Also present at the orientation was Kumasi Technical Institute and Kumasi Anglican Senior High School. This is the second of a series of Intensive orientations aimed at preventing disturbances and demonstrations in school.
SRC members of these three schools were taken through an intensive session on ways to develop initiatives to combat problems facing students. Hon. Raphael Sarkodie the coordinator of the ARSRC took the house through the history, aims, actvities and structure of the SRC. He also took the house through the acceptable conduct at meetings.
The students were given a practical lesson as they were made to do a mock sitting. The mock sitting gave students the chance to put into action the lessons they have received.
This wrapped up the ARSRC’s visit to Serwaa Nyarko Girls Senior High School. Next on the schedule is Osei Kyeretwie Senior High School. Schools expected to be present with the host school are Kwasi Oppong Senior High School, Angel Educational Complex and Ideal College.
