Today’s contest was spectacular as all three schools in one of the contests were all from Ashanti Region. The competing schools were Prempeh College, St. Louis Girls SHS and Toase SHS. Prempeh College began with a good start and dominated to the end of the contest. At end of the Contest, Prempeh College had 49 points, St. Louis SHS had 29 and Toase SHS had 22 points. By virtue of this victory, Prempeh College advances to the next stage and is part of the seeded schools.
In a different contest which featured two Ashanti regional schools, Aduman SHS was declared winner. It was a closely contested quiz with Aduman SHS getting 35 points closely followed by St. Monica’s girls with 33 points and Presby SHTS, Aburi with 29 points. Aduman also advances to the next stage of the competition and joins the seeded schools.
Luck was however not on Tepa’s side as they ended up as third with 28 points with Wesley Grammar school being second with 36 points and G.S.T.S with 48 points. GSTS would join Prempeh college and Aduman SHS in the next stage.
The ARSRC wishes all Ashanti regional schools the best of luck.
