The Paramount Chief of Tepa Traditional area, Nana Atwerewaah Amanfo I has pledged his support and commitment to the ideals and principles of the Ashanti Regional Students Representative Council. The highly revered Chief has also pledged a parcel of land to the ARSRC to build any facility of their choice at Tepa. Heads of delegations of various schools led by the Regional Executives and the Headmaster of Tepa SHS paid a courtesy call on the Omanhene in the course of the 20th Annual Residential Congress of the Ashanti Regional Students Representative Council held for the first time at Tepa.
The Omanhene took time to advise all students to be academic conscious and build their dream future with hardwork and dedication. He advised them to eschewe immoral behaviours and be positive influence on their peers back in school. He also called for Congress to be staged at Tepa SHS again the following year.
The Regional Coordinator of the ARSRC Mr. Raphael Sarkodie thanked the Omanhene for his warm welcome and his kind donation and promised that the student leaders will adhere to his advice.
