T. I. Amass phobia is poised to do wonders in the Inter-schools soccer competition this year in Ashanti Region after handing over the coaching responsibilities of the team to Licensed A Coach Prince Achempong a.k.a Tactical Sabuto.
Coach Sabuto was at the periphery of the coaching circles at Amass his influence limited to advisory role. He is however in full control of the Amass phobia team now and is poised to do wonders this year.
His build up to this year’s Inter-schools soccer competition qualifiers has been solid and professional with low key friendlies follows by medium profile and high profile friendlies.
Amass’s results so far continue to inspire confidence in the team.
Amass drew 0:0 with a highly tactical Obuasi SecTech side, then went on to draw with Konongo Odumasi SHS as well in their initial build up.
Amass then went on to beat Simms by a goal to nil.
Then Sabuto’s charges walloped the Regional U15 side by 4:0 before drawing with Opoku Ware School by 0:0, Amass then inflicted a 1:0 victory over Kwasi Oppong SHS and finally drawing goalless with Sakafia SHS.
Amass are drawn in the same group with Bosome SHS and Jacobu SHS and will paly their qualifiers on 15th November at Prempeh College.
Coach Sabuto characteristically rates Amass as underdogs and hopes to take each game as it approaches.
The strength of the team is their physique and tactical awareness. They play to instructions are very difficult to break down as a unit.
Watch out for the Amass phobia lads and the signature of Tactical Sabuto who is expected to do well following the retirement of astute P. E. Tutors like Coach Bashir Hayford of Obuasi SecTech and Kwame Amoako a.ka. Bro Kwame of Okess.
