The Headmistress of Adu Gyamfi SHS Ms. Joana Frimpong has retired from active service in the Ghana Education Service after thirty six (36) years of active service.
The Board of Governors, the PTA and the entire staff of Adu Gyamfi will honour her for her meritorious service on Tuesday the 12th of December, 2017 at the assembly hall of the school.
Ms. Joana Frimpong has transformed Adu Gyamfi into an institution of choice by instilling discipline in the student body and undertaking a beautification exercise on the compound which has gone a long way to give the school a facelift.
Madam Joana until his move to Adu Gyamfi SHS was also the Headmistress of Gyaama Pensan SHS. She also served as the Assistant Headmistress in charge of domestic issues at St. Monica SHS at Mampong.
The evergreen beautiful and passionate outgoing Headmistress spent almost four years at Adu Gyamfi SHS.
She supervised the construction of new Master’s bungalows, the completion of a multi-purpose games court, beautification of the compound of the school, painting of the school structures within her short stay and will be fondly remembered.
She was billed to celebrate the golden jubilee of the establishment of the school but unfortunately time didn’t permit her as she hands over control a new Headmistress.
She took over from Mr. Kwabena Fosu Kesson at Adu Gyamfi SHS and retires after unparalleled service in the Ghana Education Service.
The Ashanti Regional Students Representative Council congratulates her for her selfless dedication and commitment to the course of students and wishes hee Godspeed in all her endeavours.
