Mampong based St. Monica’s SHS has held their local elections for new officers to lead the local SRC for 2018/2019 academic year.
The elections was conducted on their campus and saw massive participation by students who were enthused to be exercising their democratic rights in choosing new leaders for the school.
Students were seen going through the electoral process with smiles as they picked their ballots to exercise their franchise in a free and fair democratic elections.
With the support of the electoral commission, the materials for the elections added color and beauty to the process.
Results were counted and collated when the process came to an end.
The Ashanti Regional Students Representative Council congratulates St. Monica’s for endorsing democracy in the election of prefects and SRC Executives and wishes the newly elected team all the best.
