Amass phobia makes it 10 wins in boys division as KUGISS overpowers all in the ladies division

Kumasi Girls Senior high school managed to break the monopoly of T.I. Amass after winning the girls division of the super zonals of the Ashanti Regional inter schools and colleges athletics competition. However T. I. Amass boys were too powerful for Prempeh College and Opoku Ware School as they managed to win the competition for the tenth consecutive time in the boys category.

The win by Kumasi Girls threw the whole  stadium into excitement as people cheered to the narrow defeat of T. I.  Amass in the girls category after dominating the competition for 9 years.

The highly patronized competition was closed by the Regional Director of Education Mrs Mary Owusu Achiaw who commended the effort of the athletes for their competitive spirit.

The dominance of Amass in the boys category was overwhelming as Prempeh College, Opoku Ware,  Islamic,  Obuasi,  KOSS, OKESS and Aduman failed to lose any realistic threat to their title ambition but Kumasi Girls proved too superior for them in the girls division.

The full results at the end of the competition is published below.
