The competition will see some mouthwatering clashes between schools with clout and class in debating contest.
The competition will see sixteen schools in Ashanti compete for the trophy in eight groups of two.
The winners in the eight groups of eight will proceed to the quarter finals stage.
The four winners in the quarter finals will then proceed to the semifinals with the eventual two winners in the semifinals proceeding to the grand finale.
The head of institution of Jackson College of Education donated three thousand Ghana Cedis and four hundred exercise books to the eventual winner with other packages for competing schools.
The winner gets some handsome packages from the sponsors of the competition.
