High School Debate: OWASS Beats YAGSS to Qualify For Semi-Finals

Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ SHS battled it out with Opoku Ware School at the first Quarter Finals of the ongoing Luv FM / ARSRC High School Debate.

Speaking for the motion “Churches must be taxed“, Yaa Asantewaa Girls articulated strongly their points. Opoku Ware School spoke against the motion. The Principal Speakers and supporting Speakers of both Yaa Asantewaa and Opoku Ware were at each others throats disputing claims and enforcing various viewpoints.
At the end, Opoku Ware qualified to the semifinals with 150 points against Yaa Asantewaa’s 144 points.
The evicted school Yaa Asantewaa took home a brand new water dispenser, exercise books, hampers, five thousand cedis worth of airtime among others.

Congratulations to Opoku Ware School for progressing to the semifinals of the competition.
