The battle lines are drawn: 24 Schools Set To Battle Each Other in the Ultimate High School Quiz

Twenty four schools are set to compete in the re-branded Acme Quiz competition now dubbed Ultimate High School Quiz come the 23rd of January.
The list of twenty four schools were schools that qualified in the preliminary round of the competition held last November at Prempeh College

Twenty four schools that will be doing battle in the competition include :
Defending Champions Opoku Ware School, KOSS, T. I. Amass, Kumasi, Fomena Amass, Simms, Armed Forces SHTS, Angel Educational Complex, St Hubert, Wesley High Konongo, Yaa Asantewaa Girls, Serwaa Nyarko Girls, Adventist Girls, St. Mary’s Girls, Parkoso Community SHS, Sekyedumasi SHS, Asare Bediako SHS, Nyinahin SHS, Nkawie SHTS, KNUST SHS, Kumasi Academy, Adventist SHS, Bantama, Dadease Agric SHS, Kumasi Girls SHS and Jachie Pramso SHS

The Ultimate High School Quiz is a collaboration between Ashanti Regional Students Representative Council and Ultimate Fm.
The Quiz focuses on encouraging students to read wide and beyond the scope of their academic work to be conscious of the happenings around them.
The next round of competition will see the 24 schools battle each other in a group of 4 with 16 schools progressing to the next round.
Eight schools will then qualify to the semi finals while four schools will then secure final tickets to compete in the grand finale by March.
Opoku Ware last won the competition before it was re-branded as Ultimate High School Quiz.
