The old order always give way to the new and this statement once again will be fulfilled as processes to elect new SRC executives and prefects have kicked off in earnest in various member schools of the Ashanti Regional Students Representative Council.

Kumasi High School had their vetting for SRC Executive hopefuls in a beautiful setting in school with the special elections committee scrutinizing hopefuls about their competence for the position.
Adu Gyamfi SHS had a beautiful setting for the vetting of the Local SRC executives deepening democratic practices advocated by the Regional Council.
The stage of the School’s auditorium was the place for the vetting with students grilled on their competence to lead the SRC.
Osei Kyeretwie SHS used the E-Voting Process for the first time as students queued to vote in the ICT lab of the school one after the other. It was a new experience for the students as they went through the voting procedure.
Esaase SHTS went through a beautiful process of electing their executives in a democratic process as students queued to cast their vote for various SRC aspirants. The process went smoothly and fairly.
Tijaniyya SHS held their SRC elections in a beautiful setting as SRC position hopefuls baited their breadth as students queued to exercise their franchise on who they want as leaders.
Presbyterian SHS, Kwamang adopted the electronic system of voting as students were guided to vote for their favourite candidates. It was a useful experience for the students who were delighted to use the e voting system for the first time.
