Mrs. Felicia Asamoah Danquah (KNUST SHS Head) Adjudged Ashanti’s Most Outstanding Head of Institution 2018/2019

The Awards Committee of the Ashanti Regional Students Representative Council announced this year’s award winners at the Dinner and Awards Ceremony held at Our Lady of Grace SHS, Mamponteng.

The winners of the 22 different category of awards each took home plaques and citations as well as other packages.

The Awards Committee settled on the winners following nominations by Local SRCs and a follow up Scrutiny and analysis in various forms after which the 11 member committee put it into voting to determine the winners.

The committee secured sponsorship from City of Gold Jewellers, Prudential College who offered scholarships to all individual winners, Onetouch Publications who and mtn product sponsorship.

The Most Outstanding Head of institution went to the Headmistress of KNUST SHS Mrs. Felicia Asamoah Danquah who received a beautiful Scroll Citation and a Dinner for Two at Noda Hotel.

She beat off competition from the shortlisted Heads of Okomfo Anokye SHS, Fomena Amass and Konongo Odumasi SHS.

The committee looked at level of cooperation with students, achievements, crisis management, management skills, rapport with workers, projects, etc.

The Ashanti Regional Students Representative Council congratulates Mrs. Felicia Asamoah Danquah for this monumental achievement.

Mrs. Mary Cromwell Owusu of OKESS won the award last year.

The Presentation was done by the immediate past Regional Patron of the ARSRC Col. Amadu Mahama Abukari.
