Tepa SHS overpowered defending Champions T. I. Amass, Kumasi in the quarter finals of the ongoing High School Debate to secure qualification to the semi finals of the competition.
It was a bad day in the office for Amass Phobia who looked a bit down and not on top of their game.
Tepa on the other hand were ready for the challenge and matched the defending Champions boot for boot.
The teaming followers of the debate were convinced that Tepa deserved the win having ticked all the boxes of a good debating team.
In the second contest of the day, last year finalist Opoku Ware school narrowly beat Yaa Asantewaa Girls SHS to qualify for the semi finals of the competition.
It was a game too close to call. The two schools spoke on the motion ‘Comprehensive Sexuality Education, the best way of reducing sexual abuse. Yaa Asantewaa Girls spoke in favor of the motion.
In the end Opoku Ware School had two of the judges score card while YAGSS were favoured on the score of one Judge.
