Rest in Peace: Antoa SHS students bid farewell to ‘Melody’ Rebecca Kyei Akomeah as ARSRC mourns with Antoa

It was a solemn occasion as students of Antoa SHS joined the family of Rebecca Kyei Akomeah (also known as Melody) to say good bye to the beautiful girl who has gone to be with her maker. Rebecca was an exciting pretty young girl full of life and vigor. She was sweet melodist who sang for the choir.

She was born on 9th April 2002 at Akropong in Ashanti Region.
Her parents are Mr Jacob Atta Kyei and Faustina Annor (Deceased). She had two biological siblings and other eight siblings from different mothers.
She started her education as a pioneer at Day Spring School of E.M.S at Container, off Obuasi road. She furthered her education after successfully passing her BECE at Antoa Senior High School. She was a final year General Arts student till her untimely demise on 13th November 2019 at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. She was an astute chorister at Winners Chapel International, Asafo-Kumasi branch. Through her song ministrations, she was named Melody. Her favourite qoute was Awurade te ase (the Lord lives),indicating her unflinching reliance on God. Her heart desire was to be a pilot in future. Only God knows the best and has called her for His good pleasure. We hope to meet in Heaven, where we believe you are,on the last day.

The Ashanti Regional Students Representative mourns with Antoa SHS. May her gentle sour rest in perfect peace.
