It was a battle fit for the gods but at the end, two champions T. I. Amass Kumasi and defending champion St Jerome were booted out of the competition by two girls Institutions setting tongues wagging about what to expect in this year’s competition.
This year’s Luv Fm/ARSRC High School Debate produced two shockers as for mer champions Amass phobia were kicked out by Ntonso based Adventist Girls SHS while defending champions St Jerome SHS were shocked by Trabuom based Afia Kobi Ampem Girls SHS.
The results mean that the two schools have secured tickets to the quarter finals of this year’s competition and the two schools will face off at the quarter finals stage with their respective opponents who will be determined in the coming days.
The Girls from Adventist Girls and Afia Kobi Ampem Girls danced in jubilation back to school as they hope for another feat in their next contests.
The two losing schools each received two thousand ghana cedis worth of shopping vauture by sponsors Melcom.
Astute judges Prof. Sarfo Kantanka and Dr Peter Authur were spot on with their judgment as they brought their experience to bear on the competition.
Wednesday will see another exciting contests at the Auditorium of Christian Service University College.
