The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in partnership with the Regional Education Directorate and the EIB Network will be outdooring the Junior Science and Maths Quiz Competition. The competition in Science and Maths for Junior High Schools in the Ashanti Region is expected to generate huge excitement at the JHS level.
The maiden edition was held last year but with the partnership of GhOne TV, Ultimate Fm and the involvement of the Regional Education Directorate, the competition is expected to gather momentum and compete with existing Quiz contests for junior high schools.
Fifty schools carefully selected for the four rounds of competition in Mathematics and Science based on the syllabus of Ghana Education Service are expected to battle each other in an elimination contests until the winner is found.
The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science And Technology seeks to use the competition to generate the interest of junior high school students in science and Maths and promote the STEM project in. Schools.
The competition will be preceded by a mentorship program for the students on various topics designed to empower them.
