Kumasi Anglican SHS has held its handing over ceremony to usher in New Prefects and SRC Executives for the 2021/2022 academic year while bidding farewell to the 2020/2021 batch.
At a colorful ceremony att the school’s assembly hall, the newly elected lady SRC President, who secured most popular votes was led to take the oath of allegiance and secrecy by the Headmaster of the school who is also a minster of the gospel with the Anglican Church Rev. Canon Francis Sencherey.
The outgoing President and Vice President of the local SRC of KASS Emmanuella Pinkrah and Collins Opoku handed over to Arkowaa Adjei Duah, the president and vice president Daniel 𝑨ppiagyei Nyantakyi. KASS confers on the head prefect with most popular votes as the SRC President and incidentally the last two years have seen all lady SRC Presidents and Boys Prefects as the vice due to the fact that the girls win the most popular votes.
